About Sunflower Vacations
Hi! We are Desiree Salgado and Troy Anderson, we are the operators and have always loved travel and specifically vacation homes.
We aim to buy special properties and furnish them just as we would want in our ideal vacation home. This means a fancy coffee maker, a complete kitchen with fancy dishes and silverware. It means you show up and don't have to worry about what is missing vs your home.
Just book it, show up, and enjoy.
Our properties are geared to families. For us this means they are in places that a family will enjoy bringing their kids. The house is set up with protective sheets just in case. There are spare roller beds you can use in the bedrooms so you can all be together if you like. There are noise machines for bedtime in case you like that. There are sets of dishes for kids that are plastic and safe if they drop. We provide games or toys for kids just in case too!
If you are a family and want to try out the "airbnb thing" our properties will set the standard. If you have tried a home and found mismatched dishes, burnt out ruined pots and pans, and no salt/sugar/oil, and you thought that was what you should expect - we are going to be a refreshing change. In our experience only the top 5% of properties on the short term rental sites are this good and ours are in the top 1%.
